Here’s how we helped another client maximize their home’s value.

Today we have a cool story to share about a home and how we were able to make a little work go a long way. We covered the renovations and improvements we made to the home in a recent video, but today we have an update on the situation. We predicted that with some light staging and painting, we would bring the sellers more money than we spent, and we were successful.

They ended up receiving seven offers. Three of them were at the asking price, and four of them were over the asking price. We started to see buyers removing contingencies, adding escalation clauses, etc.

"Exposing your home to the market will be worth it."

When they accepted the best offer and sold the home, the sellers received 20% more than they were initially offered by their neighbor before listing. Even when you factor in the money spent on sprucing up the home, they still got a 17% return from our light updates and upgrades. A word of caution for home sellers: Don’t just sell to a neighbor because you think they make a good offer. Expose your home to the market. You may have to do a bit of updating, but it will be worth it for you financially.

If you have any questions about selling your home or real estate in general, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
