Maximizing Your Home’s Value in Today’s Market
Today we’re coming to you from a house that we’re about to list on the market. Travis met with the seller around six weeks ago and told her what the house was worth. He also told her how she could maximize her home’s value. Today we’ll share the same advice he gave the client as we show you around the property in the video above.
The seller originally received a flat offer from their neighbor before the home was listed, so she decided to call us to ask what her options were. Ultimately, she decided to sell it on the open market, but not before she did some updates. Since the property was completely vacant, even minimal changes could enhance its value.
"Even minimal changes can enhance your home's value."
Paint the walls
Stage the home with furniture to capitalize on buyers’ emotions
Replace old appliances in the kitchen and bathrooms
Install new countertops
Light plumbing work
The ultimate goal is to showcase the home in such a way that when buyers come for showings, they’re able to picture themselves living there. We hope that by the time you read this, the home will have sold, and we’ll have data to show you how a little work can go a long way. Stay tuned to our blog for updates!
In the meantime, if you have any questions about what it takes to sell your home for the most money possible, don’t hesitate to reach out to us by phone or email. We’d love to speak with you.
