The first plans for this neighborhood were registered with Hillsborough County in 1916 and called for a planned neighborhood to be built on the shores of Old Tampa Bay.
This bayside community first registered the plans for this neighborhood with Hillsborough County in 1916 and aimed to take advantage of the natural beauty of South Tampa’s Old Tampa Bay shoreline. With around 1,300 households divided between beautiful waterfront homes and inland condos, townhomes and houses populating Sunset Park, this popular area attracts many for the quiet and reserved feeling it exudes and is home to over 3,500 people. A great and convenient location affords quick and easy access to all points of interest in the Tampa area including downtown, Tampa International Airport, MacDill AFB and I-275.
